The upcoming action film ‘King’ starring Shah Rukh Khan has been making headlines from the moment it was announced. Now the excitement has only doubled. Adding to the buzz is actor Akshay Oberoi who has officially confirmed that he is a part of this huge project.
Akshay Oberoi, who has earlier worked with director Siddharth Anand in ‘Fighter’ and the OTT series ‘Flesh’, opened up about his joy and gratitude.

He said that sharing screen space with Shah Rukh Khan feels like ticking off a lifelong wish. Growing up, SRK was his biggest inspiration, not only as an actor but as a symbol of charm, determination, passion in Indian cinema.

Akshay shared that he has always admired Shah Rukh’s discipline and generosity as an artist and getting a chance to witness that energy on set is something he will never forget.
He also spoke fondly about his bond with Siddharth Anand and Mamta Anand calling them “family” in the industry. The moment Siddharth offered him a role in ‘King’, Akshay said yes without a second thought.
